About Me
Jesse Emma is the quintessential Aussie girl-next-door voiceover artist. Known best for her ongoing commercial work as the Australian voice of Rescue Remedy and TEAR Australia and most recently, Toyota’s winter games TVC campaign.
Jesse worked in radio for a decade, starting at 89.9 LightFM in Melbourne, Australia mid-2006. After graduating from Holmesglen TAFE with a Diploma of Broadcasting in 2007, she began her on-air career as station floater.
In 2009 Jesse began hosting “Melbourne’s Night Alive” weeknights from 7-10pm. By 2010 it was the top rating nights show in the state of Victoria.
Discovering her love for voice acting through radio live reads, she began studying voiceover in earnest at AFTRS in Sydney in 2013, followed by one on one voiceover training and mentoring from Gary Mac.
In 2014 she began studying acting techniques at NIDA and hosting Drive (3-6pm) on Juice 107.3 on the Gold Coast for a short stint. She then went on to study under voice acting greats Crispin Freeman and Jennifer Hale in Los Angeles.
Jesse has a naturally friendly voice that instantly connects with listeners. With her years of experience in radio, she delivers smooth, professional voiceover for everything from commercials to eLearning modules, on-hold messages, real estate videos, narration and more.
What Jesse loves doing is character work, bringing to life animation or stretching herself with various accents or languages with past projects including dialogue in German, French and even a bit of Japanese!
